Henry Ford revolutionized agriculture not once but twice. First with the 1916 introduction of his Fordson tractor; a lightweight, general purpose, inexpensive machine to replace horses on the world's farms. Soon Fordsons were almost as common on farms as the Ford Model Ts and As were on roads.

The Authority on Ford Tractors

People who know Ford tractors know of Harold Brock. This is the how and why of these machines from the beginning. The book identifies the subtle differences that distinguish 9N from 2N and 8N, tracks the development of the 3-point hitch, and much more. Bought as a gift for my brother but read it first! An interesting read and a great reference.

Great book for Ford tractor fans.

I gave this book a 5 because it is a great resource on Ford tractors. It gives a nice overall history along with lots of photos and info on these tractors. While not an really indepth history of each model, there is enough info, specs and photos to provide reading enjoyment for the casual fan or the true-blue Ford tractors fan.
