Those interested in witchcraft, history or spiritism

A bit of a dated read but not in so much antiquated but dry reading. Accounts the very detailed recording of historical events in the east coast usa, including the witch trials and historical figures, along with the philosophy of spiritualism in the heyday of the 1880's. I am familiar with witchcraft but not all the historical events which was not of course really about witchcraft but witnessed anomalies and spiritual happening. I am familiar with spiritism but there are several tidbits and interesting info to ponder not so far as included in kardec's books. One example is the supposition that the dead you dream about likely had mediumistic tendencies when they were alive!
