Good read....finished in one night

I read this when I first was published back in 85. I always reread books but this wasn't available on Kindle Books so I had to get the hard back version. Elvis was so gorgeous and had such a voice that is doubly sad that his life ended so soon. He is a perfect example that money doesn't buy happiness. You also can't buy friendships. He had a loyal gang, but they have profited off him in his death and destroyed the image of the King. I know he wasn't a saint, none of us are but everyone was so afraid to make him mad they abetted his drugs and spending. I can't imagine a 14 year old girl thrown into this, I couldn't have handled it at 14. It is a wonder she came out on the other side ok. Wonderful story of total love and adoration and the tole it can take on you.

Absolutely loved it. I cried, And I laughed, it was a beautiful story.Elvis and Priscilla were so in love.I will be reading it again.Great book.

Great Elvis love story!

This was an excellent read, especially if your a fan of Elvis. Priscilla takes you through her entire lif with Elvis, she gives such a great detailed story of how their love began and all the way up to his death. Priscilla Presley gives the reader an insight to an Elvis that no one really knew except her, their affinity towards eachother is absolutely true. I read this book in a little less than two weeks, I could not put it down! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in true love, heartbreak, life lessons, the 60's, and Elvis ofcourse.
